Shoprite buying card money

Hi In 2005 I was appointed at Shoprite Ngcobo in Eastern Cape and fire in 2018. A year later I received an sms that said ( KINDLY CONTACT SHOPRITE ON *** AND/OR *** REGARDING FINANCIAL MATTERS THAT AROSE UPON YOUR RESIGNATION . There after they phoned asking for the buying card payment and I was told that the matter is being referred to Shoprite lawyers. The lawyers are smsing every day and the money is accumulating.Please help I am in Eastern Cape e Ngcobo
