Shoprite Boitumelo Junction Good Service

I recently visited Shoprite Boitumelo Junction in Thabong Welkom, and I must say, the strain that this Coronavirus regulations have put businesses and customers under is unbearable.

The shopping mall has got two entrances and both of them are packed with traffic during month end weekends. What I like about the mall is queuing system which is very fast and well managed.

Two weeks ago I was forced to addres the issue of two queues which I was advised to stand on. And I'm saying "advised" because I truly was not aware of the fact that for me to visit the Boxer supermarket (which is on the other side of the mall) I had to stand on one queue, then after shopping in that store have to exit the mall and then go out to queue for Shoprite outside. So I was given the process by the security gentleman who patiently tried to explain it, but unfortunately it didn't make sense to me to queue twice to enter the same mall.

I then asked to see the Shoprite manager, Mr Malakoane, who politely explained the strain caused by the Covid-19 regulations which they had to abide by. He asked me the number of items I was looking for, and after telling him that I was only looking for one bottle of cordial juice he allowed me to get it and apologised for the inconvenience. Also being aware of the situation myself, I told him that I do understand the pressure, and I said the same thing also to the security gentleman.
