Shoprite

I am so much disappointed in Shoprite Aliwal North. They sell inedible food items with rotten vegetables. I bought 2kg White Star maize meal on two different occasions. The first time a pantry pest flew out of the packet as i opened it while a second one lay dead inside. Insects had formed a spiders web inside. I had to throw it away. This time weevils were trapped in the fold of the packet. Inside was an insect web hanging on the maize meal with lumps in it. I couldn't return the pack on both occasions as i stay 108km away. The expiry date is 20 March 2024 this time , 18 days to it but the maize meal is already in a terrible state.
