Shoprite

I purchased five packets of chicken drumsticks from Shoprite in Van Riebeeck Street, Kraaifontein (WC) on Friday (20/03). Upon preparing the meat for a braai, I discovered that the drumsticks were cut in half. I subsequently reported it to Shoprite Customer Care, but did not receive feedback from them or the store. After 3 days I followed up & was informed that the regional manager was suppose to get back to me. On the 4th day I called Customer care again & was then given a R100 voucher. This is misrepresentation of a product. Upon calling the store on 25 March 2020, the butchery manager, Ms Allie informed me that she was aware that it was cut in half & had the nerve to ask me if I didn't want it cut in half.

In this challenging lock down period, we do not have the luxury of time & money to move around to rectify your problems Shoprite. What South African gives another half drumsticks to braai?
