selling rotten food

What a rotter stinking service I got from the so called manager gugu.on da 25 of july I bought 2 packets of ready made mix ***slow salad.when I got home it had s strong smell and was sticky inside,n I realised the sell by date was the same day 25 of july.no big deal I chucked it in a bin.on da 31 just went to buy a few things n thought let me just make the manager aware of what happened and the responds I got was that it was still ok as the sell by date was for the same day I bought it.ithey only remove the expire items on the nite of that date.I told her it was sticky inside she asked why didn't I return it because they can't see what's inside.dude I didn't want a refund or for it to be replaced just an acknoledgement,who takes two taxis from soweto to southdale carring rotten cabbage.shouldn't they b like others n put things on mark down a week or two before the sell by date.like she couldn't care and she is very unprofessional.hai sies maan what a bad practise.
