SELLING OF EXPIRED AND ROTTEN MEAT BY SHOPRITE -RANDBURG

I am really unhappy and disgusted as a customer of shoprite.

On Monday, 16 April 2018, i went to Shoprite at Randburg Square and bought chicken livers, which were supposed to be fresh, not the frozen ones. I then put them in the fridge when i got home and wanted to cook them the following day, Tuesday - 17 April 2018. When i opened them to cook them they were rotten and smelling so bad. I had to throw them out. That's a waste of my money.

How do you sell rotten meat to people, with smile nogal? Do they have any concern for human life? Do they care at all?

This is unacceptable. they are dealing with human lives here. Why does it seem like their staff is not even cleaning the fridges and ridding them of expired meat? really people, it's not that hard. I thank God that i didn't cook and eat them or else i'd be dead of food poisoning. Praise my living God.

This is wrong in all levels. I am still in disbelief. tjo! Are we so desensitized as people that we would allow this to go on? People die every day because of food poisoning. This is not right.

I used to trust Shoprite but now i'm disgusted by it.
