Security

On Friday I was pick pocketed my Samsung S7 edge. I reported the matter,and when I asked if they have cameras they said they do. I asked to check the footage and they told me only the shop assistance can check. A few minutes later she told me she doesn't see anything only me shopping,but she suspects some guy close to me. We went to the security at the door and reported the matter to them. The security didn't assist at all,all I was told was they ***** phones here and there's nothing we can do to help you. People complain everyday of missing phones. My question is should we stop shopping there since it's a norm that phones go missing and security is aware and they are doing nothing about it? What is Shoprite doing to improve security? What measures are they going to take for my missing phone?
