Sealed alcohol tins half empty – Shoprite Liquor Mandalay

On 31 December 2025, I purchased various kinds of alcohol (including tins) from Shoprite Liquor Mandalay.

On 1 January 2026, when I started opening the items at home, I noticed that several of the alcohol tins were half empty, even though they were still sealed and had not been opened or tampered with.

This is very alarming, as one would expect that sealed consumable products go through strict quality checks and approvals before entering stores. Sealed items should be full and safe for consumption, and this situation raises serious concerns about quality control.

I am disappointed, especially considering the busy festive season, where customers trust that products sold are properly checked.

I request that Shoprite Liquor investigate this matter, as this experience is unacceptable.
