SAVING STAMPS DISASTER

After about 7 years of me buying saving stamps at shoprite i was disappointed to learn that I cannot swipe my card to buy the stamps, mind you it is not the first time buying at Shoprite Vereeniging, the lady who was assisting me told me that she can't help if I don't want to withdraw money at the atm, when I asked of the reason why I cant swipe card I was told because the store has to many "********** card" purchases. well because getting stamps is a mission I went to the atm to withdraw money, went back to the same lady again which I got my stamps. IS IT TRUE THAT I CANNOT SWIPE MY CARD FOR STAMPS PURCHASES ANYMORE EVEN THOUGH I DID SWIPE MY CARD AT SHOPRITE SEBOKENG PLAZA FOR THE SAMETHING?
