Rude store manager & security guard

I went to Shoprite Noordgesig, as i usually do on a weekly basis. This time to do my monthly toiletry shopping. When i was in the toiletry aisle i proceeded to check & smell the various deodorants as i and many others do before purchasing an unfami**** product. I was ambushed by a female security guard of the store as if she' been patiently watching & waiting for me to spritz a small amount of the body spray into it's lid. In her Xhosa vernacular, she rudely told me how we are not allowed to do that and how i will now pay for that particular spray. I then asked her if there was a notice put up by management in the store of such a rule. She stormed off without answering me then came back with someone who is apparently the manager. Just as rudely, the lady manager told me that their store is not Clicks and that they do not have testers. If i want something I should just buy it. When i aske her why they have not put up a notice of this apparent new rule, her demeaner, tone & body language were disturbingly arrogant. I now wonder, if management lacks basic customer care skills in retail, what hope is there the rest of the employees in the store. Needless to stay i left the store with my R370 intact & went to CLICKS as the manager suggested i do.
