Rotten stuff in the fridge

I went to shoprite dopsonville mall to buy chicken today. I saw 4 pieces of chicken in the fridge and just put it in my basket. Along with few things i was buying. Wen i got to the till i pulled up the chicken and it was greenish and i did not notice that from the fridge. I put it back in the basket and smell my fingers.. They smelled like something has died. I quickly took it out of my baket to the basket next to the till.. I bot and went out. I took out eskt 3 slice of chicken polony i like so much to snack with. Gosh.. It was also rotten.. No shoprite. No... We are not ***s to sell rotten stuff to us. If i went to a big mall would i also find rotten stuff? I doubt.
