Rotten mince meat from Shoprite

On the 09/09/2020 I bought spiced mince at Shoprite Brickhill in South Beach, Durban. When my husband cooked it, it had a funny smell but we thought maybe I am hormonal because I was the only one who was complaining. My husband dished up for me. I ate one s**** of it and it was revolting. Unfortunately, we lost the shopping slip, so we couldn't go back and claim. I am very disappointed to say the least.

Why was the meat not checked? Isn't there a HACCP system in place at Shoprite? Food Safety is the thing we should really be concerned about in our country because people break the law and get away with it.
