Rotten foods

I'm highly and greatly disappointed. Bought a Real juice at shoprite at 11:49 date 13July 2015. The drink that I bought has an expiry dated 17/06/2015. Firstly I am pregnant and to be drinking expired things. Secondly why do you still put expired things on shelves ?
