Rotten food from the deli

My sister is in hospital battling cancer, she asked that i buy her a chicken special that was running at shoprite for r99. Too bad i got there a day later when the special had returned to its normal price. Anyway, i bought it. The lady at the deli was friendly but the the chicken was off. I took the chicken to my sister because she said the food at the hospital was no good only to just have her look at it. How do you sell food that is rotten though, thats probably why it was on special. It is not the first time getting rotten goods from shoprite. I am so dissapointed qnd my r122 went to waste
