Ridiculously Slow Service At the Tills

It's very common to stand over 2 hours on a queue at shoprite (Katale Square) Marapyane. The service at the tills is ridiculously slow. Not sure if it's because their network frequently dies or they don't open all the tills or most of the till staff is still figuring out how to use the system. They have been cases where there is literally only 4 people before me, but I would have to wait for an hour or so on the queue. On Saturday after good friday I spent two hours in the store for buying less than 10 items and some Granny was sitting on the floor while waiting to get a chance to pay. Most of the people who make use of the store are the elderly, it's really heart breaking that our elders have to stand for that long. Elders shouldn't stand for that long and mostly because of their health status. We get great service in the Suburbs, why can't the same mindset be instilled in the shoprite staff members or management in the rural areas? I'm writting this review because I want to see change. I'm not the only one experiencing this, I have seen community members complaining on Facebook
