REFUSED TO RETURN THE ITEMS

Good day, a friend bought a toaster for me but for some reason I received 3 toasters as Christmas present went to newtown junction Shoprite cause it is closer to my work to return the 1 toaster and for some reason Mr Theodore Pieterse who avised that he is the branch manager refused to take the toaster and said I should take it back to where they bought it, which is a bit of a problem for me cause I don't pass through town due to the fact that I was once ****** in town, I don't stay in town I advised after seeing that the toaster was bought 2 hours after that I returned it and he refused to take it, kindly advise what I should do with the toaster?
