Red Friday Shocker

<p>I am very dissatisfied at the Red Friday Promotion at Shoprite Hanover Park. </p> <p>I went into the store at 12:30 this afternoon and to my horror saw that the products advertised was sold out... At 12:30 in the afternoon!!?? And not only were there no backup stock but they filled the empty promotional drops with items that was not on promotions. I saw many customers frustrated with tellers and packers because they had placed non promotional items on the shelves where promotional stock was supposed to have been. There was huge A4 promotional plagues on those shelves, advertising the promotional items. But there was no stock available.</p> <p>Many unsuspecting clients where buying items that was not on promotion. If it was not for clients helping one another in the ques or in the aisles, many more people would have bought non promotional items because shoprites staff was helpful at all... Non of shoprites staff was willing to help. All they wouls say is sold out... Again I ask - at 12:30 in the afternoon??? Why was there no backup stock, why fillup promotion shelves with non promotional items of the same quantity but a different brand? Why bother having a promotion when stock runs out midday? What about many working people who was planning on buying on thier way home? How much of the promotional items were sold to Shoprites staff 1st before the public could get a chance to buy?... Rediculous!!!! </p>
