Department manager Tracy at Kagiso mall Shoprite and her supervisor who accused me of lying and did not putting on their actual name badges on the 04 Jan 2022 at past 18:00 after requesting a range check for Thokomani peanut butter as it hasn't been available 3 times I've been there this past week.
Supervisor Lebogang who wasn't wearing her actual name tag, refused to do me a range check insisting a customer has to wait for the final day of the special first, I told her that I've done many range checks in other stores including with her at shoprite and I've never encountered or heard of such and I requested her to call her manager.
The manager arrived with no name tag at all and stared me in the eyes for some time before greeting me, and added on Lebo's statement, and insisted that I know of this policy as I am a regular and that I am lying as the range check policy has been there for years.
I told her that her information is new to me and I have proof of another range check that I did days before the final day in 2021 to differ from what they were telling me. And told her it has been a week and that it made no sense to expect customers to make regular check inns of the availability of the product daily or to travel just for a range check on last days when they might no longer have enough money to afford the sale item. Infact coming to the mall for most customers is costly. She then went on to tell me that I must come back the following day when the store manager is around to argue with. And went on to look me in the eyes and called me a **** about not knowing who the store manager was.
Tracy's conduct is highly unprofessional and unfit for the manager and should generally be taught how to speak with people. And seems to have some personal issue with me that I am curious about.
Regards Tumelo
