purchase of goods on sale that have expired

In November I bought sone canned fish that was on sale at Shoprite Rustenburg (118 Kerk street) midtown mall. I’ve already threw out 3 cans. The expiry date says 2026 but the fish has indications of it being expired. This is not the first the time I’ve bought soemthing on sale and it was expired. Once bought milk to find that there was something wrong with it when I got home. The downside is I live 60km away from town so returning products is difficult and a waste of my time 🙂. I’m so mad
