Price nightmare

Wow getting ****** at shoprite every month you calculate your purchases item for item from the displayed shelf price at the till you have to pay more the cashiers just pull up their shoulders the management cares less. Unfortunately it is the cheapest store between the retailers but still cheats customers so the savings doesn't really make up for it. Does consumer law not say that the price displayed is the price you have to pay.
