Price fixing

This morning I went to buy few items that I need at shoprite in Jabulani mall. My experience is when I get to the cosmetic department seeking for bath soap "protex" I found that they make a special offer of buy 2 at the price of R24.99. But the normal price is R10.99 each. So I ask one one of the merchandiser who was busy packing on the very same shelf of tje soap that this does it make sense nah. She was also surprised. Then I went to get a manager a ask her to atleast explain it to me why is this happening here. Still she has no answer. So my problem is . Shoprite are they ******** customers or are they messing with people s intelligence or what. I fail to understand why. And it's not for the first time I experience that. Several times. What is going on.
