Price difference

Went to shoprite at Sam ntuli mall today and I took an easygest yogurt on the frudge with the price R36. 99 however it has a sticker R10 off and now I check my slip and I still paid R36. 99 was I not supposed to pay R26. 99 as the promo only ends on the 31st December and today its 30th December
