Poor service from a Supervisor

<p>Last week I went to Shoprite Newtown Junction to do my groceries and I wanted to do a cash withdrawal as it was month end. The queues were long, nevertheless I waited for my turn. As I was in front of the cashier Andile she told me that she does not have enough money for the withdrawal and she tried to assist by asking fellow colleagues and none was able to assist. She then turned into a Supervisor for assistance Nondumiso and to my disappointment she just looked at her and ignored her with no response whatsoever, and the queues were piling up. She just carried on with whatever that she was doing , poor Andile she was looking around for assistance and almost 5 min gone and Nondumiso who is the supervisor and suppose to lead by example and lead her staff and provide assistance she looked at us like mad people. And lucky another lady Thandeka who was on her way home noticed that we needed help and politely she asked what is the problem, and the cashier explained to her . She than took my groceries and got assistance from another teller and she personally apologised for the bad service from the Supervisor and her words were ‘ I’m really sorry and I hate it when people leave the shop angry’ and she made me feel better – A person like Andile & Thandeka really showed good customer service and Nondumiso on the other hand with her sticking attitude is someone we don’t need in the retail industry. And I would like her to be addressed for such behaviour cause many customers would leave because of her, she is ruining the company name and putting it in disrepute.</p> <p> </p>
