Poor service

Me and my mom went shoprite Usave today to buy some grocery and the cashier said she can't help us because we are using my father's card it's written Mr both my mom and father are married so am so disappointed with the service cause we don't even know about this new policy and the management says the same thing if it's the new policy why don't they write it down so that everyone they can see it
