Poor service and communication

This happens on a regular basis, but last night it was the worst ever. Yes it was close to closing time, but there was only 5 tills open including the one at the cigarette counter. I was in the queue at the cigarette counter when the machine stopped working. The teller doesn't notify any of the customers. Instead one of us had to ask what the problem was. The manager was called, but instead of coming to assist he walks past to close someone else's till before coming to assess the situation. Even he doesn't inform any of the customers on what is happening. <br> <br> The rest of the staff seemed to be on a permanent go-slow, not even a smile from anyone. Other staff were hanging around in the shop doing odds and ends. Can't they see the shop is busy and come to assist by opening another till? I even had to pack my own groceries in a bag.<br> Their level of service excellent is one of the lowest I have seen in my live.<br> <br> Thanks.<br>
