Poor Service

It is really a big frustration at this time, where we are busy facing challenges of the COVID but still cannot work with us. Today I was at shoprite store in mfuleni, I was told by the securities to join the queue, I produced my letter to show them that am an essential worker, they said I have to come to the shop wearing a uniform, I advised them that we don't wear uniform at work. I asked them so call the manger of the store, a gentleman called Sino Mpambani who is an assistance Branch Manger said they were given an instruction by the head office not to allow anyone inside the store, and I was escorted out by the securities, I must say he is one *********** person I have ever dealt with. I took the matter up with Michelle and Sharon from the head office who said Dean is the one responsible for escalations, unfortunately we did not get hold of him. What am trying to say Shoprite needs to understand not all departments and companies wear uniform, we have detectives, social workers, officers etc that don't wear uniform. Mr Mpambani is very *********** and I feel that he is taking chances since he is managing a store at an urban area and he still has the nerve to tell us that he has been refusing to let in essential workers that are not wearing uniform.
