Poor management , and cheating the customers

Shoprite Verulem high way , I was in store on the 21 st of October and noticed lamb chops on special in the afternoon , it was marked at R110 a kg , I spoke to a guy called Raj at the butchery counter and I spoke to him as I know he is working there for many years , I asked him if the lamb chops will be on special still the next day the 22/ 10: 2017 , he said yes it will be as they have so much stock enough to last for days , I said ok that’s great as I’m not going home and I will purchase the next day , and are you sure the prices will not go up tomorrow ,quite confidently he said no it will be the same , he never say ok I’ll check etc , so upon arriving on the store the next day the same lamb chops are now advertised at R110 a kg a whopping R30 extra per kg in a day and lo and behold The RAj is no where to be found ,so I spoke to the store manager Tony and he says he don’t have an answer why his own staff said me that , and he cannot assist me or event try as he got new stock and he cannot do anything . I then went to the chicken counter thinking I can get the bony bird on special at least I can get chicken as the family wanted a grill but ho and behold shelves are empty . This poor manager cannot control stock. Does not know why his staff made a comment and did not want to do anthhing to correct the error , does he own the Shop I guess not ... so why have such poor management in place I shudder what will happpeb in the festive period , off to pick and pay Verulem for good quality and good prices and they don’t ever make excuses for staff
