Poor Customer Service at Kosi Bay Shoprite

Today i went to buy, something from Shoprite Kosi Bay, and cashier Ms Mathenjwa, has let her friend pass from behind in the queue in front of me and close the till while i waited for about 5 minutes. And the branch manager when i called to lodge a complain said, i can not complain or put a complain over the phone, is that accurate?
