Poor Customer Service

<p>This morning I made a quick stop at this Shop rite store in Witbank at the Metropolitan Centre for few items. Like always the service at the till was pathetic. The till operator who assisted me today is Funeka if my memory still serves me well. Firstly she didn't even greet me, she just scanned my items and took the money from my hand and threw my change on top of her till with no "thank you" after completing my transaction but only went on to assist the next customer and then of course I packed all purchased items into the plastic bags myself like always. Whatever happened to good customer service in Shoprite stores??? As customers we are always treated like intruders in your stores by your employees which often makes you think twice when one wants to buy from your stores. I happen to be a functional trainer for Woolworths stores in Pretoria and mostly cover the customer service module with Woolworths employees so I know exactly the level of service I should expect from any retail outlet. The level of service from most Shoprite stores is really horrible. I trust that Shoprite will at least give it's employees the best customer service training in order to improve our daily shopping experience. </p>
