Pathetic Service rendered by Kempton Park Shoprite Central Ave

I am deeply disgusted by the service i received from Shoprite Kempton Park, 8 Central Ave this morning at 08.29am. I went to buy an electric jug which was marked R119. Took it and went to the teller who charged me R149. I then asked why the price was higher upon receipt of my till slip. She called the supervisor who took me to the jug aisle to check and confirm if the price was correct. She realised that it was their mistake where the price was for a special that ended yesterday. After waiting for close to 30 mins, they called the very arrogant, a white lady who came, never greeted me, reversed the transaction for a refund and was made to sign a reciept and was refunded. I then queried why i was getting a refund seeing that noone had explained anything to me and the Manager did not bother to ask if i needed a refund or exchange. They refused to give me the jug for the price on the shelf (which was their error) and did not explain or ask me if i needed a refund. The arrogant Manager walked away with no solace or explanation. I looked like a fool as no staff was talking to me or explain what was happening.

Shoprite needs to up their game. They lack customer care and the Manager needs to enrol in Public relations and customer care classes. Their was pathetic and i am deeply disgusted by this as i am a very loyal customer.

Management, please address this issue as i have also noticed that complaints are never addressed by Shoprite on this page.
