Pathetic service from Shoprite

I went to Shoprite Brickhill Road to return and item I bought from a different Shoprite. I went to Brickhill because it's walking distance from where I live. I was told I can't return it in that specific store I must go to the store I purchased it from.

What's so annoying is that I can buy something from one store and go return or exchange it at another but why can't I do it at Shoprite. It's utter nonsense
