Pathetic service and no product

Shoprite in Merino Mall in Ermelo opened last week. I went to Shoprite on Saturday, 2 November and the service was really poor. If you want to ask staff something you must first wait for them to finish their private conversation. The Bokomo muesli was on special for R29.99 but there was nothing on the shelf and when I asked them to please check in the back if they still have, the person only said they don't have. I was told to come back on the Monday and when I did go back Monday morning the shelf was fully stocked but I was told the special ended the Sunday. Why did they not adsist by issuing a call-back note /raincheck so that i can still get the product for that price?? Very conveniently there was nothing on the shelf the Saturday bit on Monday morning the shelf was fully stocked. Staff not helpful at all and definitely not friendly. Very disappointed!
