Parmalat First Growth Milk
Good Day. I would like to express my dissapointment at Shoprite Checkers for increasing the price of Parmalat First Growth Milk 1 from R16.99 to R19.99. The price change is huge in my opinion. I usually buy this Milk for my 18 month old son and i spend about R340 monthly because i get about 20 cartons, but i will not be shopping at Shoprite for this Milk anymore because of the price change. I would like you to know that you have lost a customer and i will now be going elsewhere to buy this Milk . Thank You

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment with the price increase of the Parmalat First Growth Milk. Due to pressures on the input costs of products suppliers have to increase their prices from time to time.
However, as Shoprite aims to provide customers with the best possible prices the category buyer has negotiated a deal price with the supplier slowing Shoprite to reduce the price from February 2015 to R18.99.
As mentioned in your post above, you purchase a large quantity of the milk for your son. A six-pack of the product now costs R107.99 which equates to R17.99 per carton providing a further saving.
In conclusion, I would like to thank you for taking the time to raise this matter and for providing Shoprite with an opportunity to respond.
