Old meat being sold!!

I am completely disgusted at the level of quality at Shoprite Maitland, and Shoprite Kuilsriver.<br> On four separate occasions myself or my husband has purchased meat from the two abovementioned stores. As we normally do check the meat in the packaging it looks decent to the eye, the expiry date is a few days away which is fine as we would be using the meat that same day/night. <br> But once we start prepping for our meal, opening the packaging you get a distinct strange odour. Rinsing the meat seems to resolve this, only to discover once we sit down to eat that this meat is definitely OFF! And sometimes you can see on the underside of the meat there is definitely something wrong. Every time this has happened. We have experienced the same thing with vegetables from Shoprite too. Mouldy once removed from packaging. Am I expected to prepare and feed your products to my babies??<br> This is completely and utterly disgusting as Shoprite claims the products are \fresh". Please restore my faith in the Shoprite brand. """
