No response

I had requested for a donation for an ECD CENTRE from shoprite online. I received a response and my case ware referred to Shilton Pillay who responded by email and offered R1000.00 voucher to the ECD CENTRE and advised me to go to Shoprite in mandeni mall. I went to shoprite in mandeni mall on 07/02/2018, i waited for +-1.1/2 to be assisted. I was then told to wait because they were busy verifying the email from Shilton i had showed them. After another hour of waiting, I decided to start shopping with the hope that by the time I'm done shopping they would also be done verifying. To my dissapointment I was told that this is a very long process and I cannot get the voucher they will call me on the following day(8/02/2018) once it's sorted. On Friday 10/02/18 I sent the email to Shilton Pillay making him aware that they could not give me the voucher at the shop and had promised to call me but they did not. He has not responded, I sent another email again this morning but still no response.

This is very disappointing and unprofessional. Even though Shoprite is donating to the organisation but we deserve to be treated with respect, after all we are customers. Their level of unprofessional is very high, you can't keep the customer waiting and promise to call and keep quiet and ignore emails. We did not force the shop to donate to our organisation, if they don't want to donate they shouldn't, instead of wasting our time and petrol for trips to the shop for nothing.

This is pure disrespect!
