No refund for dispensing wrong product

Chris Hani Crossing Shoprite Medrite, I went to purchase Boracic acid for killing ****roaches, and the pharmacist says they did not have it but had an alternative. So she gave me Glycerin B.P. I asked if it will work and she said yes. When I got home.I googled and discovered that it was not an insect killer. I returned it and they refused to refund even though I did not open it or break any seals. I am shocked that a so called Pharmacist can suggest a wrong alternative altogether. What if it was a medication to ingest? One would die or get sick. Shocking!
