No payment without Xtra savings card

I was at the store this morning at 10:30, I took my cool drink and simba chips and queued on once it was my turn to pay the cashier advised me that I can't pay without the Xtra savings card as his till won't open. So I ask someone to borrow me his because mine was at the car. The Shoprite group must advised in advance that if we're are to buy anything from Shoprite the must have a card and most of the clients are leaving without even paying. This is a very big inconvenience for us as Shoprite customers. Now we'll have to look at alternatives that won't give us any problems
