Mouldy chicken nuggets!!!

<p>Went to shoprite in Valhalla Centurion today, my 3 year old son wanted chicken nuggets so i bought them not thinking they would be off i set about getting the rest of my things. When it came to making them when we got home i saw the mould on the nuggets. Surely there should be quality control especially on the meat. What if i did not see the mould and i made it for him??? Tomorrow is my birthday but yet i have to go to the shoprite and ask for answers. This is a inconvenience and its such a hugs health risk having mouldy meat for sale. I know mistakes happen and on the packaging it says sell by the 17 Dec but all the meat, chicken, steak, chops etc get taken to freezers right before closing and get packed out again in the morning surely your butcher or staff should have noticed it. I have the packaging and the nuggets and will be taking it back to the store tomorrow but having it replaced will not be sufficient as this was unacceptable. If it was your child who ate mouldy meat you bought you would have taken it further. </p>
