Most embarrassing moment ever

On the 22nd of December 2016 I went to checkers shoprite to do some Christmas shopping. While shopping I got a call from my husband telling me his mother is in hospital and busy dying. I left my trolley immediately and left to go and pack. We had to go to Nelspruit. On 24 December 2016 I returned to shoprite checkers to do my Christmas shopping. Checkers were quite busy and I almost spend 3 hours in there. The contents in my trolley and bags came to around R7000. Being on medication for panic attacks and anxiety I left the trolley at a empty till. I went around the till took my medication and went outside for fresh air and a sigarette. I stayed close to the entrance since my trolley was standing alone. I was approached by a manager, staff and security. They took me into a office, accusing me of trying to steel and entire trolley of goods. I explain to them the situation. The kept my trolley and told me to get a new trolley to continue shopping. I was so embarrassed I decided to just leave. People were staring and talking. I will never ever in my live shop at shoprite checkers again and also decided to lay a complaint against them
