MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT *****

At 09h30 on a public holiday I received an sms saying money has been paid into my MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT. Usually I don't withdraw the funds immediately. At 15h30 I decide to login to the MMA using the USSD code and it shows I have only R70 and not R3000 as per the SMS. I download the MONEY MARKET APP and there too it shows only R70 i check transaction history and see gaming vouchers n airtime was purchased that day. Furious I go to shoprite in Southfield and they check the app and see Hollywood bets vouchers and mtn airtime vouchers were purchased. They tell me it's public holiday the ***** department is closed and that I must return at 8am the next day they'll help me report this *****. I ask them to atleast stop the vouchers from being used. They said only the ***** department would do it. Next morning the manager reports the case via telephone n email to the ***** department. Encounter to saps to report the case with the documentation from shoprite I receive a call from the KYA team saying it will take 14days to investigate n refund my money. After 3.5 months of phonecallls and emails to customer care I finally get an email saying the KYA investigation showed the pin was compromised and I won't be getting a refund. Nevermind the fact that there was a digital footprint to investigate. I was told to take the case to saps as it's now a ******** investigation. Saps has thrown the case out months ago because shoprite wouldn't comply with their investigation.
