MISLEADING ADVERTI*****T

This was a very sad and unfortunate experience for me at Shop rite Klapmuts. On 1 May 2025 I went there on a quick trip to get the advertised apples and pears, where you can save R10 on buying both. Then also to get my birthday gift of a chocolate. Due to other commitments I was in a hurry, and couldn't check my pushases. On arriving home, I realized that I didn't receive the discount on the combo, nor did I receive the chocolate for free. The promised type were not on the shelves, and I took an other one of the same brand name. What's disturbing is the fact that I've immediately reported this by email on the customer service email adres. No word from this company. My consern is about the fact that this company offers you something as a thank you birthday gift, which is a great gesture, the only company that appreciates their customers. My consern is the fact that you must then make sure you have that product on the shelves. The lady at the fruit and veggies station made sure that I've got the correct varients of apples and pears. The tills wasn't set up for the discount is the only reason I can get. So another pensioner looses R20, because of ineffective principles.
