MANAGERIAL INCOMPETENCE AND FALSE ADVERTISING

On the 12th of April 2016 We went to purchase a large amount of necessities for our business in bulk from the Randburg shoprite branch.We needed to opt for the cheaper option due to the large quantity that we required.We compared prices of the thick bleaches on the shelves and saw a special price of R18.99 per 750ml so we took 20 of these bottles. When we got to the till we were charged R22.00 for the same product. The manager said that she cant do anything about the situation as she cant charge us R18.99 for a product that is R22.00-which is basically false advertising. We were told that the price was relevant for a specific fragrance of the bleach but my colleague and I saw 3 labels of the same price under the 3 different fragrances of the bleach, then the manager said that the fragrance that was on special was out of stock as well. She didnt assist us in anyway and she is not fit to be in a managerial position because she just came up with irrelevent excuses. I decided not to purchase anything from them anymore as there service stinks( with their staff sighing and breathing heavily out of irritation).WILL NEVER BUY THERE AGAIN.
