Manager and security guard unprofessional

I went to the Shoprite Glen Rigde with 2 bags and the security guard asked to leave a bag in the parcel counter and go inside with the bag that has wallet. I did so.

I forgot to tell the security guard at Shoprite that there are 3 sensodyne toothpaste in my bag (i had forgotten about them) . On my way out the other security guard security searched me and found them then they requested a slip which I did not have. I indicated to the searching guard that the other security (which was standing next to her ) allowed me to go inside with the bag. The security started screaming saying it's not her fault that I didn't declare my toothpastes and if I continue mentioning her name she will beat me up. I went to Manager's office with the searching officer followed by the other security guard then explain my story.

Manager asked the securities to put me in a certain room and hand cuff me as a shoplifter. I requested a footage to make things easier because I only bought doom inside so it was going to be easy to see my movements, she refused. I requested to pay for toothpastes and come back the following day with a slip then they can refund me, she refused.

I indicated that the slip for toothpastes is in office. I hired a car to office and spent about R700.00 return trip. I came back with a slip.

What are the cameras for?

I asked what is going to happen with the security that has threatens to beat me for mentioning her name, the manager said they are not responsible for security guards conducts because they work for another company.

I kindly request your advise in this situation as I'm devastated with this whole thing . I don't know what to do but I believe I was treated unfair. And I was wrongful handcuffed.
