Lack of Integrity

I am dissapointed in the service we continuously experience from shoprite but today I was disgusted by the way I was treated

I did my normal shoprite shopping as per sunday prep for monday and I picked up rose toilet papers packed 9 which were priced 36.99 and as I was paying they charged 62.00. I queried this and the lady by the name of Mary was called to remove the items and she said I will not get them for that price as the price was for mini toiled packed 9 so I asked whose fault was it that they put the wrong ticked on the price and she went in the glass office discussed with her other colleagues while the queue was getting longer and not moving and she didn't bother to come back with a decision. I brought up cpa out of irritation and she said she knows it but she won't give me at that price so my rights as a consumer were violated and as I gave up the issue and left them behind I went into that glass office full of woman who gave me attitude as I greeted and I asked who was superior to talk to and one of the ladies from the same group came up front and said to me I told Mary to give them to you and yet she was standing with Mary so how can she have told me and I had to buy them separately at that price

The ethics of shoprite in terms of service are questionable and the staff doesn't care at all its like they are doing us a favor The till operation was speechless through out so they take advantage of black people as we are known for not voicing our opinion and take it as it comes so I would not recommend shoprite if you want proper service i need an explanation of how the cpa of shoprite works
