Lack of compasiion for the elderly

<p>On Friday 2nd September 2016 my mom went to Shoprite Southfield, to get my aunt's pension. Whilst standing in the queue the lady in front of her either fainted or had a blackout, she toppled my mother over in the process. My mom hit her head against the pillar, the staff only took care of this lady and left my 73yr old mother, my mom asked a customer to help her up. Once on her feet she felt jittery and made her way to the office informing them that she also fell. The cleaning lady offered her some water and another staff member gave her a chair. My mom says quite some time passed before she asked a staff member to come and get me as I was waiting for her in the car. When I went to the store I found my mom sitting on a chair, she told me she hit her head and that she felt jittery, I then decided to take her to her dr. After we got home I sent Shoprite head office an email. They responded by saying they're sorry my mom fell and would investigate and asked for my mom's contact details, I sent the contact details on the 3rd. On the 7th the Manager of Shoprite Southfield contacted her with a feeble apology and said by the time he looked for my mother she had already left. On the 7th I sent head office another email telling them how appalling I find the whole incident and all my mom got was a feeble apology, I have not had a response to that email.</p>
