just no service

i respondes to an sms campaign from house and home. i waa called on monday to complete a telephonic application which was done. i was advised that i will hear from the granting department within 24 hours. still no feedback!!!! so today i call *** the head office number for house ans home and there is no answer at all. i than go onto their website to obtain an alternate number i find the service division number *** i dialled that number and as per telkom recording that number does not exist..how does a business run when a consumer cannot get through to someone. sceptical about buying through this company
