Is this part of good customer service really?

I went to Shoprite at Umzimkhulu Mall on Sunday, the 23rd of September 2018 with a friend, and as I was heading to get bread by the bakery, the ladies at the bakery started to gossip about us and that really annoyed me a lot since the retail's aim is to provide customers with the good service. Those ladies at the bakery obviously have nothing better to do, either gossiping about customers. This was very disturbing especially to see people at that age to talk about their customers in front of them. We heard what they were saying and I would like to file a complaint about this whole situation. Such behavior is unacceptable at all. I was so angry. They are not different than bullies, imagine being bul**** at a Good Supermarket like Shoprite. They should get what is coming to them and if the Store Manager won't do nothing about it, more people will go do groceries somewhere else. Certain steps should be taken, they should suffer the consequences for their misconduct/misbehavior. I believe that, it was not just us, they do this on daily basis to other people who can't speak out fro themselves. Store Manager at Shoprite Umzimkhulu Mall, do something about this, clearly your staff is out of hand.
