Horrible customer service

Shoprite liquor yarona complex has the worst customer service ever,actually they are undermining,disrespectful and discriminative towards people in the area. The store has a no trolley policy which means that customers are subjected to carrying alcohol by hands standing in long queues,it doesn’t matter how much you bought. A few weeks ago I get to Shoprite yarona complex in kaalfontein to purchase 48 cans,bottle of cognac and a pack of redbull by myself, security guards denied me access with a trolley so I approached a very rude manager by the name of Mahlatsi needless to say he didn’t help so I wrote an email to complain and Shoprite reached out and the guy apologized and I was assured that customers will be assisted by staff if they buying more than they could carry of which I thought the matter was finally resolved. On Sunday I go there to buy about 48 cans and dumpies respectively I get there is a long queue as usual people are carrying boxes in the queue without any assistance so I guess maybe it’s because they don’t know they could get assistance so I que until the cashier and explain what I wanted to buy he instructed me to get them and I explained that I could not carry the load on my own and he made rude remarks and said:manje ofuna mina(now you want me) meanwhile the useless manager who apologised for the same thing not so long ago is standing behind him so I called him by name to ask for assistance and the guy was just as arrogant which was when I pulled out my phone to record this unbelievable encounter. He started threatening me and telling me about the POPIA act and still no help from him. I have never seen such treatment in the suburbs where consumers carry heavy loads even in the similar liquor stores. This type of ************** will not be tolerated just because we poor doesn’t mean we deserve low standard treatment, our money is still the same.
