His Tablet was ****** at Parcel counter
My brother (Mr. Mutaung) went to Shoprite on the 27-01-2015 at around 15:30, He handed in the plastic he was holding to staff at parcel counter. The plastic had a Tablet inside, he went inside the store and spent +- 15 minutes, after paying for the goods he was buying, he went to to the parcel counter to collect his plastic. He realized that his Tablet was not inside the plastic upon receiving it back from the parcel counter.<br> <br> He reported the matter to the store manager but he was harrased by Security staff and Store Manager. They even refused to show him Video footage.

Thank you for taking the time to contact the Shoprite supermarket chain about the matter of Mr Mutaung.
As discussed with your brother at the time this matter was brought to Branch Management's attention, the security footage shows that Mr Mutaung's parcel was neither tampered with nor items removed at the time he was shopping.
Mr Mutaung has been advised to lodge a case with the Police should he not be happy with the information received. Unfortunately Shoprite does not provide security footage to members of the public in line with our security protocols but will gladly assist the SAPS in any investigation.
