FALSE ADVERTISING FROM SHOPRITE!!!

So, this morning before I went to buy my groceries, I went online to the Xtrasaving specials that Shoprite has (as I normally do before I go buy groceries). As I scroll through the specials they have I come across this apparent special they have on a "Bic Easy Shave Razor With 8 Replaceable Blades Set" - https://www.shoprite.co.za/All-Departments/Health-and-Beauty/Personal-Grooming/Mens-Shaving/Bic-Easy-Shave-Razor-With-8-Replaceable-Blades-Set/p/***1EA.

So I go to Shoprite Pretoria North and I get to the razor department and as you can imagine, to my delight, I actually get to take the last 2 sets of these razors they advertise for "Buy 2 for R 15". (Let me remind you that this is advertised as "buy 2 for R 15" ON THE INTERNET WHERE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE SEE THE SAME EXACT DEAL I AM SEEING)

I get to the till and to my horror they want to charge me R 84.99 per razor set. So I take out my phone and show them that it is advertised as R "Buy 2 for R 15" ON THEIR WEBSITE ON THEIR BRANCH - PRETORIA NORTH. NO, they say, they can't give it to me for that price. I tell them that it isn't my fault you advertise the product ONLINE FOR 2 FOR R 15. They say "Yes, they know that, but it isn't advertised for that price in their catalogue of specials either. So I ask them I want to see then what the price is in the catalogue, and they get a catalogue and it ISN'T IN THEIR CATALOGUE! .So now I am starting to get pretty ****ed and I tell them I want to speak to the branch manager. "No', they tell me, "the branch manager, Yvonne Schoeler, will only be back at the branch on Tuesday, 23 March 2021.

Now I want to know: Am I right that if something like this happens where a product gets advertised for R 70 cheaper on the retail outlet's website that the customer absolutely HAS TO PAY THE FULL PRICE FOR THAT PRODUCT, OR IS THE RETAIL CHAIN GOING TO ADMIT THEIR MISTAKE AND APOLOGISE TO THE CUSTOMER WHO SAW THE "MISTAKE" AND THEN ACTUALLY GIVE THE PRODUCT TO THE CUSTOMER FOR THE ADVERTISED PRICE? Otherwise Shoprite is busy with false advertising and that is against the law. And if they condone this behavior where they advertise it for one price and doesn't want to give it to customers for the advertised price then I am pretty sure it won't be long until they are just as ******* as this government of ours.
